Part of a collective exhibition “Character: Lived, Tested, and Exposed”, challenging us to give the word “character” a visual voice.

What We Hold Onto is a collection of 17 intimate conversations about mementos we hold onto, though often forget. I took inspiration from the form of the A-frame board as a monolith, an object defined by its permanence in a moving landscape. The last question sets the speculative scene: your world and memory as you know it is about to be erased. You are reawakened in a soft room with no indicators of your past life, except a capsule of three items.
